Leadership

Being a leader is not easy, if we describe in the form of social strata in an institution / organization in the community then the figure of a leader occupy top level positions. A leader is chosen based on the level of intelligence, credible and individual quality that are very strong, who have the vision, mission and goals which are very dominating both within an institution, company, organization and even within a nation state.

The ideal leader should have a role and a very strong character to his followers. He must have a strong soul, charismatic, high-minded and authoritative in the eyes of his followers. A leader must be able to carry a great responsibility in leading, even afford to sacrifice body and soul and wealth to fulfill the vision and mission in achieving the expected goals for him and his followers. Furthermore he must be able to nurture, protect, and can give justice to his followers, institution / organization that he lead. So no wonder if a leader is often dubbed as the demigod like the song who is created by Iwan Fals.

The more larger institution / organization that he led the more greater the pressure that will be faced by a leader, he will be confronted by a lot of pressure as opposition, distaste, demands, conflicts and even the threat of those who want to drop him either from internal or external.

There are countless examples of great leaders who are very successful and are able to bring the country towards progress. Even the figure of a very charismatic leader who is able to break the racism in a country, one of them is Barack Obama who went on to become a leader in the United States and is not a white person, he was the first black president in the United States that the majority of their population is white-skinned people. The story of extraordinary leadership of mainland Latin America, Simon Bolivar is a citizen of Venezuela and the only man who had been a leader in 4 different countries in the years 1813-1830. He had been a President in the State of Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador.

There is no limit to become a leader, everyone can be a leader both men and women, especially in these days where the emancipation of women is very high, a lot of women have become leaders even became president, for example Megawati Sukarnoputri who is capable of being the first women as a president in our country.

In today's world a lot of leaders are not trustworthy, for example in our country a lot of leaders who are only concerned with their own interests, abusing their positions, corruption and more involved deviations that was incompatible with the true soul of a leader. If a leader can not trust and can not lead well then what about the people / followers. We have a lot of listening to the stories and history of leadership in a fall of a country, such as the fall of the Suharto regime in our country, the revolution in some countries Arabia etc., this is due trustworthiness is not longer a leader to lead the country, dictator, and impartiality of the little people.

We can all be a leader, but his true leadership to nurture the soul of leadership within us is at the start of the lead ourselves, for ourselves and life skills in leadership has been honed since an early age so it is a great opportunity and a goal to become a great leader. Because the people who went on to become a leader is a very tough people who started the stage by successfully leading themselves, their family, and then in an organization, then the larger scope that is leading the nation and the State.

In a more modest scope for example, of any school we have been taught to have the soul of being a leader. We can cultivate leadership within ourselves to instill discipline, responsibility and socialization in the neighborhood, never dreamed of becoming a great leader. Because not everyone can become a great leader, if it does not start with the lead yourself, the family and the environment, if not able to lead yourself . Then we just be limited to the leader is not a leader.
